Our Instructors
Mr. Erik Park, owner and lead tutor of Berkeley Academy, is an ex-high school and middle school mathematics and science teacher from the Los Angeles area. After many years of working with students in all different levels of academic motivation with success, Mr. Park believes in the balance of professionalism and a teaching style which students can relate to and trust. Berkeley Academy instructors are professionals that love working with students and have mastered the subject that they are mentoring. Berkeley Academy's tutors include college students and young professionals who have already achieved educational excellence. Our tutors have had recent first hand experience and will be knowledgeable and available to give authentic advice on the student's upcoming educational ventures. Under Mr. Park's example and guidance, all our instructors promote teaching styles that are effective and comfortable for the student, whether the student is academically motivated or not.
